The remodeled kitchen has a reserved palate of colors and materials. The grey linear tiles of the backsplash reflect the linear brickwork in the adjacent living area. The mottled concrete countertops, stained laminated lumber shelves (structural psl's), and birch cabinets add texture to the otherwise quiet finishes.
